Cozumel Condominium Building Manager

Here is a great opportunity at a beautiful condominium on Cape Marco.

This position oversees operations and administration of the Cozumel, a 120-unit condominium building on Marco Island, Florida. This important leadership role manages a staff of 6 team members and coordinates all vendor activity on property for building-wide projects to maintain, upgrade or repair common systems and elements. The annual budget for ongoing operations including reserve funding is in excess of $2 Million. This position also manages the building’s requirements for contractors performing work for individual unit owners.

Qualified candidates need to have:

Significant building management experience in a multi-unit dwelling as a condominium or community association manager, or equivalent experience in a related field.

Technical knowledge of major building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, et al)

Broad financial management skills inclusive of financial planning, budget management and accounting.

Strong project management skills and experience

Vendor management experience

People leadership skills and experience inclusive of hiring, coaching and training

Strong communications skills (one on one, written, presentations) to Board, unit owners, vendors, government officials and employees

Condominium Association Management license

Bachelors Degree in business or a related field is desired, or equivalent in work experience.

Message from President

The CAMMI organization has been around since 1995. I joined in 1997 and have served on the Board most of my membership years as a Board member including 7 years as Board President. We are fortunate to have some of the original Board with us as members today. I have an interesting year ahead of me as President with the balance of the Board as women!

We have updated the association governing documents and continue to bring new ideas to all members. All events, continuing education, and announcements are posted on the website so please be sure to check it on a regular basis. Also, be sure to let us know if something needs to be posted. I am sure this will be an exciting year for CAMMI and hopefully without storms like Irma.

As members, your input is very important and participation in the association by all is very valuable.
