MARCO ISLAND, Fla. — Sea turtles on Marco Island needed a little help after they became disoriented.
Wildlife officials want to remind you that if you live on the beach, you should turn off your lights.
Hatchlings can become disoriented by the light as they make their way to the water.
If you come across any stranded sea turtles on Marco, you can call the police department 239-389-5050 or the county's "famous turtle lady" at 239-289-9736.
